After enduring hardship and forced relocation to Indian Territory, these tribes united as the Peoria Tribe and established a new home along another Coal Creek, this time near the Neosho River in present day Miami, Oklahoma.
Their journey is a story of resilience, unity, and the preservation of a proud tribal heritage.
