Buffalo Run Casino & Resort is dedicated to developing strong community ties and active involvement with local community and regional organizations and events. Involvement in an event should develop goodwill and sound relationships, strengthen the relationship with the community, and help enhance the business operations of Buffalo Run Casino & Resort and partner organizations.
All sponsorship requests are reviewed weekly by our sponsorship committee.
Please read the guidelines below before applying.
Guidelines
Sponsorship requests from organizations within our market and community shall be reviewed weekly by a sponsorship committee.
All sponsorship requests require a minimum of 45 days processing time from the date the request is received to ensure we have enough time to properly evaluate, respond and develop a marketing plan in support of your event.
When writing your proposal, please be as specific as possible (i.e., number of ad insertions, minimum number of verbal mentions, logo or name listing as opposed to “recognition”).
Please include all of the following in your proposal:
- Full name of organization
- Telephone number
- Fax number, email, and website (if applicable)
- Complete mailing address
- Name and title of contact person
- State or local affiliations
- Non-profit or tax identification number
- A summary of the organization, including a clear description of its purpose or mission, those who benefit from it, and the geographic area in which it operates or serves
- Details of the event, including its date, purpose, expected attendance, and beneficiaries
- Specific sponsorship requests (sponsorship amount, auction items, products or services)
Timeline
Unfortunately, the number of applications seeking support will always exceed the funds available and worthwhile programs cannot be guaranteed support regardless of merit.
Please allow a minimum of 45 days from the time of submission to allow us to process your request as our decisions are determined by our annual budget and other sponsorship commitments.

Please note that due to the high number of requests we receive, proposals and any included materials will not be returned.
Buffalo Run Casino & Resort does not sponsor the following:
- An individual.
- An individual sports team.
- Groups which seek to influence elections or legislation.
- Organizations for religious purposes.
- Private foundations
- Organizations, projects, events or activities that primarily involve minors (these requests will be forwarded to the Peoria Nation)
- Multi-year funding requests
- Any event that may reflect poorly or tarnish the image and/ or reputation of Buffalo Run Casino & Resort
- Institutions in policy or practice unfairly discriminate against race, ethnic origin, sex, creed or religion.
- Properties that do not allow the promotion of gaming activities will not be considered.
Buffalo Run Casino & Resort receives hundreds of proposals for Donations/Sponsorships each year. To streamline processing, we ask that you please use these guidelines when developing your proposal.
